As a counselling psychology graduate, I bring not only professional training but also personal lived experience to my work. Having immigrated to Canada, I understand firsthand the emotional, cultural, and identity challenges that come with transitions and starting over. My goal is to create a compassionate, inclusive space where your story is valued, your emotions are honoured, and your voice truly matters. Together, we will work at a pace that feels safe, empowering, and meaningful for you.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in British Columbia and a professional member with Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

  • Every person’s story is unique — so I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs. I work from a strength-based, collaborative lens, believing that your own inner resources are powerful tools for healing and growth. In our work together, we will build on those strengths to help you feel more grounded, confident, and empowered both inside and outside of therapy.

    I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including:

 FAQs

  • Building mutual understanding and trust between the counsellor and the client is an important part of the counselling process.
    Typically, individual counselling runs for at least 6–8 sessions, meeting once a week or every other week. Some clients choose to attend monthly sessions or schedule counselling on an as-needed basis.

  • I don’t offer direct billing at this time. However, I provide a receipt after each session by email, which includes my CCC and RCC number. You can submit this receipt to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

  • If you wish to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please email us at info.horizonhealing@gmail.com at least 24 hours before your scheduled session.
    Changes or cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur the full session fee. We appreciate your understanding.

  • I provide in-person services subject to my personal schedule through walk & talk this time. I may not be the best fit for you if you have a strong preference for consistent in-person services.
